Julius Damenz is a German cinematographer based in the US whose work has screened at international film festivals such as Fantasia, Tribeca, Palm Springs Shortfest, Burbank International, and St. Louis International.
 
Born and raised in Bremen, Germany, he moved to the US as a young adult, and was soon after mentored by Joaquin Sedillo, ASC.
 
Julius' approach to cinematography combines his background in screenwriting, technical expertise, and love for collaboration with the director and crew. He's committed to finding a unique visual language for each project, and is secretly a fan of production headaches that requires unorthodox workarounds.
 
Julius' most recent feature film was theatrically released nationwide. He's available for narrative, commercial, and music video work.
